FoodHyper Bootcamp: Shaping the future of the food industry

The FoodHyper Bootcamp by LI Food offers innovative start-ups from the food industry the unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and learn from leading experts in the sector. This year, five promising start-ups took part and received valuable input on topics such as food technology, safety, automation and the latest food trends.

The two-day boot camp took place on 18 and 19 September 2024 in Osnabrück and Quakenbrück. On the first day, the participants were welcomed at the Seedhouse, where they presented their business models and received important feedback. On the second day, the programme continued at the DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e. V., where deeper insights into technological developments were provided.

This year’s participants were:

  • BREAKX: Develops sustainable, savoury protein snacks that combine meat with plant-based proteins.
  • FizzGo: Offers alcoholic instant drinks in effervescent tablet form that can be easily dissolved in water.
  • Mixmymeal: A personalisable frozen meal concept that uses AI to create individualised meals.
  • MySpirulina GmbH: An innovative solution for producing your own spirulina on the windowsill.
  • Laphet (Tea Eats): Makes tea leaves edible through fermentation and uses them to develop new, versatile ingredients such as tea pesto.

The FoodHyper Bootcamp is organised by the consortium partners Seedhouse and the DIL as part of the LI Food – Landesinitiative Ernährungswirtschaft Niedersachsen.
